2. Pioneer Summer Boys' Lacrosse Camp at Sacred Heart University

Sacred Heart University Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Jonathan Basti is excited to announce the date of the 2016 Pioneer Summer Lacrosse Camp for Boys Lacrosse players in Grades 1 through 8, July 11th-14th. This instructional lacrosse camp will have a 9am-12pm Half-Day camp for players in Grades 1-4 and a 9am-3pm Full-Day camp for Grades 5-8.

This camp will be led by Coach Basti, his staff, other Division II & III coaches, and Pioneer lacrosse players. Each day camp is broken up into 3 distinct segments. The first portion of camp is dedicated to individual skill and positional work, the second part of the day works on those skills focused on at the start of the day through group/team drills. The last part of the day is focused on scrimmaging and game situations.

Each day we will infuse Box Lacrosse skills taught by current SHU assistant and former NLL professional Coach Miyashita into our field curriculum.

Players will enhance their skills in a fun and safe environment that is focused on giving each player individualized instruction to help them enjoy the game of lacrosse.

7. The Field House

Field House Lacrosse offers the perfect SUMMER CAMP for developing lacrosse players. From 9 to 3pm, players will engage in a variety of drills and games designed to improve both their stick skills and their knowledge of the sport. We understand the rigors of a full day of lacrosse so the kids will also participate in a number of camp activities such as Spider Ball, Capture the Flag, World Cup Soccer, and even KNOCKERBALL, throughout the day. In addition to frequent water breaks, players will be able to re-energize over lunch, snack periods in both the morning and afternoon, and even CHALK TALK, during which players will learn basic sets and concepts on paper, ultimately creating their own complex lacrosse plays by the end of the week. All campers will receive a FREE Field House T-Shirt and Water Bottle. Sign Up Today!
